On Friday November 21 Mercy Human Relations Council put on their annual show of Ethnic Bazaar which included cultural dances, songs, ethnic food, and a henna stand. Many students from all grades attend, and love the overwhelming cultures that fill the room.
“It gives the opportunity for students of various cultures and ethnicities to be able to showcase their culture and show how Mercy’s community is diverse and unique,” Senior Chandu Koneru said.
There were 8 different performances varying from Lithuanian dances to Haitian songs.
“I thought it was really amazing and I loved seeing everyone’s different cultures, my favorite one was the Irish Dance,” Senior Macy McDaniels said.
