Content Removal/Corrections

Content Removal:
Printed and digital versions of Newsprint and Newsprintnow.net serve as a journalistic historical record of the Mercy High School community. As such, we do not remove or significantly alter published content.

Editorial Policy on Takedown Requests:
Requests to remove published material will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Granting a takedown request requires a compelling legal reason or safety concern. Final decisions will be made by the editorial board and adviser.

This policy is intended to uphold the integrity of our publications and be consistent with industry-wide professional journalism standards.

Corrections
When errors are identified, we will correct them promptly following the policy outlined in our staff manual:
A correction for any significant error of fact or omission, as determined by the Editorial Board or adviser, will be promptly published in Newsprint’s news brief column or on the editorial page.

Minor spelling errors or typographical errors will be corrected.
