Mock Trial plans for the future

With the Mock Trial season officially over, plans are already being made for next year’s competition. The team will be losing two of its best players and will have to recruit four more girls next year to act as either an alternate or a full-time team member.

“Mock Trial is a really great stepping stone for anyone considering going into law school in the future and has also helped mold me into who I am today these past three years,” said Senior Gia Toler.

Toler plans on attending Michigan State University in the fall.

Next year the team will be looking for a witness and a lawyer to replace Toler and senior Alycia Washington in order to compete. Tryouts are expected to be sometime in October, so keep an eye out for more information when school starts in the fall.
