The Mercy Marlins gathered with the University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs on Jan. 19 to take on their rivals, the Catholic Central Shamrocks, in their biggest game of the season. Students from both Mercy and U of D filled the entire home-side section with a sea of white and created a record-breaking number of Fill the Bowl attendees. With an appearance from Detroit Lions cornerback Darius Slay and an energized halftime performance by Mercy pom, the Cubs won the game 72-60.
