The Mercy Varsity Swim and Dive team competed and placed second in the Division One High School Swimming Championships. The Marlins finished the meet with 272 points. Sophomore Maddy Loniewski was crowned champion in the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:05.09. Junior Elliott Schinella also won the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 54.91. In total Mercy had 11 out of 14 swimmers competing in the finals on Saturday.
