Mercy takes on Arts, Beats & Eats

Mercy juniors Katherine Najor and Dunya Kizy spent their Labor Day weekend at downtown Royal Oak’s annual Arts, Beats, and Eats Festival. There, they experience live music, a variety of diverse foods, and specially crafted artwork made by local companies and individuals. Arts, Beats & Eats is a festival celebrated every Labor Day weekend that allows local artist, musicians and eateries to get exposure from the general public in a light, fun atmosphere. Bigger artist like AWOL nation, Eddie Money and Matt Nathanson played larger stages and local bands such as Kimball and Black Note Graffiti also had shows for the patrons to enjoy.
