Mercy will be holding a conference centered on teaching educators how to integrate technology into the classroom.
Tech Talk at Mercy on Feb. 28 will be presented by distinguished technological speakers such as Liz Kolb, a professor at the University of Michigan who teaches courses on educational technology, along with other speakers including Mercy staff members Mr. Larry Baker, Ms. Alison Kline-Kator, and Ms. Lisa Robinet, to name a few.
Topics such as iBooks, flipped classrooms and social media will be covered. In addition, Mercy’s own iWizards will give a presentation. Teachers from various schools in the metro Detroit area will attend the conference to discover new and effective ways to use technology in the classroom.
As an Apple Distinguished School, Mercy takes pride in its innovative use of technology and looks forward to hosting the conference.
