The annual Michigan Solo and Ensemble Festival will take place on January 25.  The Mercyaires will be performing, and musicians and vocalists, including Tri-M members, are encouraged to participate.

Vocalists performing in Solo and Ensemble must present two pieces, one in English and one in a foreign language (preferably Italian or Latin).  Musicians may present a solo piece or perform a duet, trio, quartet or quintet.  There are a range of five possible scores, the best being 5, or Superior.  Performers will be given comments and scores by a single judge, who may also offer constructive criticism and a brief lesson.
