The Pro-life Club recently sponsored a trip to Problem Pregnancy Center, which is run by the Mother and Unborn Baby Care, in Southfield. Among the group were seniors Lexi Schultz, Jordan Zurke, Julia Brown and Margaret Reaume, junior Tillie Kozlowski and freshman Haley Schultz.
Once there, the girls met the workers and received an in-depth tour of the clinic.
Problem Pregnancy Center provides a haven for pregnant women who feel overwhelmed or inadequate. They counsel pregnant women, let them know their options, and give them hope for a future. There’s even a room in the basement full of diapers and clothes for babies that mothers can use four times a year for necessary supplies.
“Places like Planned Parenthood can promote abortion,” said senior Lexi Shultz. “But Problem Pregnancy Center is helpful in showing mothers other options—it’s a better version.”
