Mercy’s Freshman Volleyball team hustled against Marian at their home game on September 13. The Marlins got off to an aggressive start and the score was quickly 5-0, with Mercy in the lead. However, as the volleyball was rescued by forearms, praised by sets, and compelled to the floor by spikes, the scoreboard became close to balanced. The Marlin’s teamwork and support for each other is undoubtedly portrayed by their continuous brisk gatherings on the court whether a score was made or not. As the third set ended, Mercy grasped victory with an ending score of 26-24.
