Many different hair choices were displayed through the Spring 2011 Ready to Wear Collections. Seventies curls, loose waves, and low chignons were common hairstyles throughout the collections. Some designers featured slicked back hair, which however, is not a recommended look.

This hair style was seen at Christopher Kane and Dries Van Noten, among others. The models, usually stunning, only ended up looking frumpy. The clothes could not even manage to distract from the bad hairstyling.

“I would definitely never wear my hair like this,” said junior Susan Panetta. “It is not flattering in any way.”

Instead of choosing this look, try wearing your hair half up. This is much more flattering, and people won’t give you weird looks in public.
