Many Mercy Girls are using Twitter to spread holiday cheer this year. Girls have started the trend of making “Christmas themed” user names. They include a mixture of Santa Claus, jingle bells, and other Christmas puns. These creative names have taken the Twittosphere by storm.

“I feel that Christmas Twitter names bring the cheer of the season to social networking sites and it’s funny to see what Christmas names people come up with themselves,” says junior Sarah Kane.
