Football, one of the most popular high school sports, is finally coming to an end. For seniors, that end is bittersweet. Some have just finished playing in their last high school football game. Harrison High School, in Farmington Hills, played in an exciting match against Brother Rice Saturday, November 5th. Harrison lost 30-7. Many teams competed in the Catholic High School League Prep Bowl Saturday, October 24th. The Prep Bowl was held at Ford Field in Detroit. The teams, including Detroit Catholic Central, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, Detroit Loyola, and Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, were victorious in their divisions. Many seniors have committed to colleges already and plan on playing the sport as a college athlete. As a new wave of winter sports come in, we bid adieu to the famous fall sport — football.
