Mercy’s Varsity Bowling team has only one sophomore member this year. will notice a group of juniors, a group of seniors, and one sophomore. This sophomore, Heather Lillystone, undoubtedly fits right in with the rest of these talented bowlers.
Lillystone, a left-handed bowler, has only bowled for three years, and has a high game of 192.
“I worry a lot about hitting my mark and picking up my spares,” said Lillystone, “mainly the seventh one because that is the hardest pin for lefties.”
Still, Lillystone is enthusiastic and optimistic about this year’s season.
“I’m very excited,” she said. “In our first tournament we all did pretty good and I’m hoping we’ll get better as the season goes on.”
