As a new member of Newsprint, Micah Rogers in a senior reporter on our staff. At Mercy, she is a member of the Varsity Pom Team, BASE (Black Awareness Society for Education), Link Crew and JCL (Junior Classical League). Micah wanted to join Newsprint because she wanted to be able to find her voice and become more confident in her writing and in sharing her opinions. Micah hopes to work in either communications or journalism when she gets older, therefore, Newsprint is a perfect way for Micah to gain some experience. Outside of Newsprint, Micah likes to hang out with hands and she has a job at Little Caesar’s.
