Daria Smith is a senior reporter from Canton, Michigan. At Mercy, Daria is involved in BASE, Spanish Honors Society, National Honors Society and is on the Track and Field team. Daria joined Newsprint because she wants to pursue Broadcast Journalism in college. Daria enjoys covering sports because she is an athlete and enjoys watching sports as well as covering the achievements of her peers. Daria believes Newsprint is important because it is a great way to learn more about the world and our Mercy community.
