Mercy’s Varsity Ice Hockey team routed Detroit Country Day 7-0 Wednesday in their second game of the season. With four goals in the first period and three in the second, they were dominant throughout the game. Goals were scored by Amelia Bartels, Emily McCann, Natalie Masopust, Julia McAree, Hannah Larkin, and Mary Reeber. McCann, a freshwoman, slotted two goals, while sophomore goalie Caitlin Somerville earned a shutout, helping Mercy remain undefeated in their first two games.
