The beginning of the fall sports season has brought joy and elation to Detroit sports fans everywhere. The Detroit Lions football team and the Detroit Tigers baseball team are doing exceptionally well. The Tigers have been playing terrifically with their pitcher, Justin Verlander, who so far this season has had two no-hitters (a game thrown without any hits) and one perfect game (a game without any hits or walks). Additionally, the Lions are undefeated with a 3-0 record. In the last three games played, the Lions have roared back and held their own against rival teams, staying on top in their division. In their latest game, the Lions defeated the Minnesota Vikings 26-23 in overtime after an impressive turnaround.
