On Wednesday, Mercy’s Varsity Volleyball team beat Marian at home, winning the first three sets.
“I think as a team we played really well. We served really well which I think helped us beat them, and then we also hit and passed well I thought, and our defense helped a lot,” Junior Volleyball player Maya Zarow says.
Mercy won the first two sets, 25-14 and 25-21 respectively. The final set was back and forth for the lead between the two teams, but Mercy was able to win with a final score of 25-22.
“I thought it was really fun to sweep Marian and the student section brought an amazing environment,” Zarow added.
