Rain, rain, go away, come again another day. Fall has started, and it can sometimes rain for a week straight. Michigan weather is always spontaneous, and rain is no exception. Regardless of your weather woes, you can still look fashionable during fall rain. There are many options to look chic while still being functional.

The most important rain essential is rain boots. Not only are these boots functional, they are adorable as well. Hunter has some great options for a higher price.  Although they are more expensive, Hunter comes with great boot liners that allow these boots to transition from fall to winter. The liners allow them to be as cozy as a pair of Uggs. Other great rain boot options can be found at J. Crew, and they often come in great prints. Sperry, a Mercy favorite, also has some cute finds.

A rain outfit is not complete without a cute raincoat. Wear a knee length coat or rain jacket to make the proportions work best. Trenches are the most classic option, but parkas or military style jackets also work. Look to J. Crew, Target, Banana Republic, or other stores to find any type of jacket.

Finally, a cute umbrella makes this look complete. Look for cheap options at Target or even T.J. Maxx, but other high end umbrellas can be found at other stores. Vera Bradley and Lilly Pulitzer are Mercy girl favorites, and they certainly have plenty of umbrellas.
