The Detroit Red Wings held their annual High School Journalism Day at the Joe Louis Arena this past Friday.  Journalism students from schools throughout the area were invited to attend.
Activities included press conferences, a tour of the press box, and watching a Red Wings practice. As a Red Wings fan and a hockey lover myself, I took a lot of pictures and videos of warm-ups and drills. With the sports action setting on a camera, I captured the Wings in a very similar way to video footage since the quick shots miss little action. In this slideshow, I set up a collage of the pictures. If you click through them quickly, you will see that the still photos create a video-like scene.
