The Mercy Varsity Basketball team completed another successful season this year.  They overcame many feats and proved how amazing the Mercy Marlins truly are.

The basketball team defeated both of their major rivals: Marian and Ladywood.  They finished their season as Catholic League and Division Champions.  They even made it into the “sweet sixteen” (best 16 teams in the state).

Throughout the successful season, the team came together like a family.

“My favorite thing about the team is that we are sisters,” said junior Michaela Mazur.  “We are with each other every day and really get to know each other.”
