The Science Olympiad team had a strong 2012-2013 season. They only had one competition, Regionals, in which they placed 11th overall.

“I would say our season went well,” said moderator and science teacher Mrs. Lisa Schrimscher. “It was a young team so we’re looking forward to next year.”

Science Olympiad competes in 25 different events, which they placed in the majority of at Regionals. There are about 50 students from all grades that participate on the team.

Senior Syndey Shuk is sad to leave Science Olympiad after four years on the team.

“I really enjoyed being on the team,” said Shuk.
