To thunderous applause, the Mercy Varsity Hockey team took the gold and won their first ever State Champion title this past Saturday. The Marlins played the Walled Lake Wilds for the trophy, and succeded with a 3-2 final score. Goals were scored by Morgan Debrincat and Maddie McClain. Everyone was in high spirits after the ground-breaking win, which will give Mercy Hockey a States banner in the gym and the students a day off of school on Monday, April 8.
