But instead of shoveling food down your throat that will only make you bloated, why not try some homemade Ramen Noodle Salad this year? It’s light, it’s tasty, and it’s healthy! Follow this easy recipe and “wow” your relatives with it this Thanksgiving.
Ingredients:
1 head green cabbage, shredded
1 bunch green onion, chopped (optional)
2 pkgs. Raman noodles (Blue “Oriental” package)
½ cup sesame seeds
¾ cup toasted slivered almonds
Dressing:
1 cup vegetable oil
½ cup sugar
¾ cup rice vinegar
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 pkg. noodle seasoning
After prepping the dressing, the salad will be ready to eat in only four short steps.
1. Break up uncooked noodles.
2. Mix uncooked noodles with cabbage and onions. Set aside.
3. Pour dressing over noodle mix.
4. Add seeds and nuts.
And voila! The salad is ready to be gobbled up. It’s almost better than the stuffing!
