On Wednesday November 6, Mercy’s last Maroon & Gold raffle assembly took place to celebrate the funds raised by selling tickets. In an Olympic themed ceremony, the Mercy community gathered to find that enough tickets were sold to surpass our $153,000 goal. Also, the assembly honored the top sellers among each class, the staff, and advisor group, held a celebration for the powderpuff team, and a performance by the cheer team. Students and staff earned two days off of school. For each student, the minimum amount of tickets sold (40), allows them to dress out of uniform in December and May as well. The raffle officially closes on Friday November 8, when the official winners will be selected, with the 1st place award being $10,000.
