Media mogul Oprah Winfrey will be sharing the cover of her ‘O’ magazine with a man for the first time. She has chosen Dr. Oz to appear with her on her January issue.

“As we toast to a new year and encourage readers to take the first step toward a happier, healthier life, who better to help us get on the right path than my dear friend and America’s doctor, Dr. Oz,” said Winfrey to People magazine.

‘O’ magazine was first published on April 19, 2000. Winfrey has appeared alone on the cover of each issue until April 2009 when she shared the cover with First Lady Michelle Obama. In December 2009 cover Winfrey appeared with fellow daytime host Ellen DeGeneres on the cover.

Winfrey appeared on Dr. Oz’s talk show earlier this month, talking about her newfound love and need for meditation twice a day. She also mentioned the motivation for her network.
