Students in Ms. Anne Eddy’s Directing class put their knowledge to the test by managing their own acts in the Festival of One Acts, performed in the drama hall on May 14. Students chose the actors, costumes, sound effects, lighting, and blocking, which is the staging of actors throughout the performance. Director Claire Alafita and actress Carmela Sleva both talked about their experiences in the act “Extracurricular Activity,” directed by Jay D. Hanagan, in the Festival of One Acts.
