Lately, more and more companies have created Instagram accounts to advertise their products to a wider range of people. Since companies can now have their own Instagram accounts, they are able to follow people and communicate with a wider audience.

Sophomore Sophie Lamphier found one of her favorite places to shop, Terra Novva, a jewelry website, from Instagram. Terra Novva’s account followed Lamphier on Instagram, and she decided to look at the jewelry. Now, Lamphier buys all of her favorite jewelry from Terra Novva.
