Pro-Life Reflects on their Message

Senior Kelsie Arlin passes beads out to club members to decide small groups.

As students walked into the auditorium for this semester’s final Pro-Life Club meeting, senior officer Kelsie Arlin handed each member a small bead. The meeting used a fun activity to drive home a very real and saddening message.

“We put a lifeline on the board and members chose fun and important life events for the girl we invented,” said Arlin. “After we had created an amazing life, we erased the board finishing with the statement, ‘Unfortunately this life was never able to happen because this was not a child; it was a choice.’ ”

Following the activity, club members were separated into small groups by their beads for discussions.

While this meeting marked the last for the semester, the Pro-Life club has big things in store next semester. The members, accompanied by other students not in the club, will travel to Washington D.C. in January for the annual March for Life.

“We have a really large number of girls going this year so it should be a great time,” said Arlin.
